I have always loved color and pattern. I spent my early years drawing, experimenting with pen and ink, dabbling in watercolors, acrylics and pastels, all the while dreaming of becoming a designer. I carried that dream with me through high school, through college, through my nine-to-five job and into my marriage, but it stayed just that, a dream. The birth of my two sons and my desire to work from home to be with them was the inspiration I needed to finally take the plunge. With very little knowledge of hand painted ceramics and a whole lot of gumption and belief, I bought a small kiln and dove headfirst into the ceramic world. I started with making jewelry in earthenware clay and painting it by hand. I was hooked. From there I moved to painting mugs, then bowls, and finally dinnerware, each painted in vibrant, colorful patterns with the intention of inspiring joy in everyday living. What began as a one-woman venture quickly blossomed into a thriving enterprise and I was off on a journey designing a variety of products for the home, a journey which has sparked an exciting new venture -- fabrics for the home.

A celebration of the beautiful, inspired home, my fabrics utilize colors and patterns that exude a sense of easy sophistication with a charming, bohemian feel. They are relaxed, family friendly and easy to live with. And just in case you don't see the perfect color for your home, it gets even better! Make it uniquely yours with our custom program.

Inspiration is everywhere  and there are endless possibilities for it's expression. That's joyful living to me, and the celebration of joyous inspiration and creativity in everyday living is what I bring to my art and hope to share with those who bring my designs into their homes.

I live in the lush Louisiana countryside with my husband, John. We love to garden and believe there is always room for another flower bed. My two young sons are now two young men who live nearby and visit often. Life is good!.
